I had my Honda Odyssey repainted by MAACO. The results were moderate. If you’ve come to MAACO, you aren’t looking for perfection—you should be looking for a balance of cost and outcome. So my expectations weren’t particularly high. The paint on the car looks good. I would say it even came out a bit above my expectations. However, there were two primary issues: 1. Overspray outside the car 2. Overspray/dust and residue all over the inside of the car MAACO is known for overspray and painting trim/rubber to save time on masking. They lived up to that reputation. While not horrific, there was plenty of overspray and leftover tape. My #1 issue was the condition of the interior. The inside of my vehicle was covered in fine dust and residue, as if the windows or doors had been left open during sanding or other prep work. It was significant enough that the residue transferred onto my kids’ clothes when they sat in the van. I reached out to MAACO about the unacceptable condition of the interior. I requested that they cover half the cost of having the interior cleaned—probably about $40. They declined. They offered to have me drive the vehicle back to them (30 minutes each way), leave

I am not happy with the paint job on my truck. I paid $3,000 for the premium package to ensure a great result, but the quality isn't there. When the masking tape was pulled off, it took parts of the paint on the rearview mirrors with it. There are also small granules and rough bumps all over the truck because it wasn't sanded properly before it was painted

I'm sharing my experience to help others and give honest feedback to Macco. A few months ago, I took my car in for a new paint job after it was recently unwrapped, wanting a fresh coat and a color change. The staff was friendly and respectful, so no issues there. After reviewing the price and process, they said it would take 4 to 7 business days, and we agreed. However, due to miscommunication, I returned 10 business days later to find my car was ready, but it had been repainted in the original color, which was disappointing. The staff offered $100 off or to repaint it after curing in 30 days. They later said it would take 7 to 10 days due to increased business. I finally received my car after 14 business days. The second paint job looked good, but there was a lack of attention to detail—residual paint inside and outside, they painted over the keypad lock buttons, so I can’t see the numbers to actually utilize this feature on the car and minor issues like the license plate holder not being screwed in all they way, which caused the plate to fall off on the way home (a few example photos are attached). My overall experience was okay, but I don’t consider myself hard to please; I unde

Back in Black. Great experience at the Fresno Maaco. Nick advised me and was very knowledgeable and helpful, especially when it came to tempering expectations. I brought in my 2001 Ford Ranger for a new paint job. The truck has held up well over the years. It's hauled, towed, and been off road everywhere from Mojave, throughout the Sierras and the dunes near Pismo. After 25 years in the California sun, however, paint is going to fade, especially when the truck's painted black. As mentioned, Nick did a great job of advising what I should do. I wanted to improve the truck's look but it was important to strike a balance between quality and cost. Everyone wants to save a buck but there was a practical consideration here because this is still a 25 year old truck that would be exposed to occasional working conditions and off-roading. It's not a museum piece to only be looked at and not touched. And so, as advised, I went with Maaco's mid-range "Preferred" package with additional UV protection. For better quality and matching I also chose to keep the original color. Additional work on my truck's hood and front fenders was recommended because of how sun damaged those areas were (lacquer

I couldn’t be happier with my Maaco paint job. Seriously. Everyone was super nice, friendly, and cared about doing a great job. I noticed about 4 spudder bubbles in one confined area. They buffed them out for now and I am to bring back in 4 weeks for them to redo. While the manager was inspecting that she told me she wanted another area redone. I hadn’t even noticed any issue. I purchased the highest grade of everything. I’m getting lots of compliments on my car. My classic 23 year old car looks brand new.
